Role Overview
RBTs are responsible for the direct implementation of individualized behavior and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a BCBA. This role requires consistency, attention to detail, and professionalism across all settings.
Responsibilities
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans as written
- Work directly with clients across clinic, school, and home settings
- Accurately collect and record data during sessions
- Follow behavior plans with fidelity and consistency
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client progress
- Support skill generalization and structured programming
Minimum Requirements (Not Optional)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to pass background screening
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between settings
- Consistent attendance and ability to follow structured plans with accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Active RBT certification
- Completion of 40-hour RBT training
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong work ethic and professional communication
